As said before, we enjoy seeing the sights. This includes spending a rainy afternoon in a Parisian museum, and we like to spread the joy.

When we came Berlin in the early 2010s, this was the quintessential “hipster” place for us: We’d go and listen to the guy at the next table, boasting how he wasted €200 on drinks last night.

In Japan, almost every city has its own unsung wonderland: It’s called Tokyu Hands. To call it a “store” would be an understatement: A typical incarnation will sell everything that isn’t edible, and then some.
Manage your travel money
Money and payment on the road can be a bit more exiting than at home: Businesses elsewhere have different habits, you house bank is far away and you have to bring funds with you in some way.
Zen Shibuya
We’ve first been to Zen when we had an Airbnb in the area and didn’t want to hunt around for a lunch place. We’ve always had a soft spot for udon noodles: Compared to the better known, all-popular ramen they are thicker, more substantial and more “native Japanese”. They come in as many variations as ramen, though.
Tsim Chai Kee
We tried this shop when we were coming home after a long day out, and were hungry. We found one of our favourite places.
